How We Got Started
The Creatively Inspired Home began in 2017 as a personal blog. We had just bought our first house — a dated three-bedroom semi that needed work on every surface — and started documenting the process. Turns out, a lot of people were in the same boat.
What started as weekend project logs turned into a resource that thousands of homeowners relied on each month. We grew because we showed the messy middle, not just the polished "after" shot. Readers told us they appreciated seeing the mistakes alongside the victories.
What We Stand For
We believe your home should reflect who you are, not what a catalogue told you to buy. Every room we feature is a real space belonging to a real person. We do not use staging companies or professional stylists.
Budget honesty matters to us. When we say a project costs twenty dollars, we mean twenty dollars — materials, tax and all. We list exactly where we bought everything so you can replicate it without guesswork.
The Team
We are a small team of three. One handles the writing and photography. One manages the community and reader submissions. One builds and maintains the website. We all live in houses that are permanently mid-renovation, which is probably why the content never runs dry.
